A nicely handled decent picture but doesn't have the social commentary of the awning one. But a good complimentary picture for a series. The putty and blue are nicely captured.

There's not the social commentary intended with this that there is in the Kodak shot. This is part of an ongoing series - "Portraits of Ordinary Objects". I've been shooting public recycling bins, fire hydrants, payphones, traffic cones and so on, capturing things we see every day and maybe even interact with every day without giving them any thought. They're not beautiful or glamorous objects, but they're enormously important in their own rights.
