On my monitor the brightness and contrast look just fine. I think this dynamic image has a very balanced look and the corners are handled well.

Thanks, I am a little paranoid about the quality of my posts. Especially after viewing Jorge and Francesco's.
The water in the lower left corner is very shallow and in the print you can see where the leaves are just barely poking above the surface.
