Pygmy Oaks in a Gully

The scan doesn't do this print much justice. These are Pygmy Oaks which are a naturally occurring bonzai'd variation of the California Coastal Live Oaks. They are growth-stunted and shaped by the wind and terribly hard to photograph. This is about the best shot I could get hand holding my Crown Graphic on a late afternoon with a heavy overcast sky.
