I grew up in the great northwoods of Minnesota. For someone so landlocked and rooted, wide open places like this hold wonder and terror with their expansiveness and loneliness. The ocean has so many moods and they change so quickly. Photographs from this same location can express an infinite number of moods. This is such a normal and calming scene, the absence of whitecaps makes me wonder about your ranger. Very nice color. Very, very nice.
