La Promenade Plantee is a 6km long former railway route in the city of Paris, leading from Bastille southwest down to the eastern Peripherique, about 20ft to 30ft high, across all streets and places. The railway was once built when large industrial areas existed within the inner city area of Paris.
The living together of old an new archticture was what I found especially interesting.
