Wow. That's a great image. What is in the background? A swirly pattern thingie backdrop? It makes me dizzy.

That magical swirl of the Petzval seems most appropriate for the occassion, though showing it to the kids at the end of prom night might have elicited an "urp!" or two...

It's a lovely, special image! I wonder how long it's been since someone had their prom photo done on wet-plate collodion...
