Thomas, another good one. An interesting study in texture and line. The only thing I would wish to see differently is the shadow detail. I know it is impossible with roll film, but a minus development on this frame would open the shadows to complement the textures. Must have been a wonderful trip. tim

I think the tones appear fine for a negscan, nothing wrong with a little black especially against a wall with such wonderful tones and textures. If you had used n- development I think you would have lost the magic in the wall. The lone shadow in the lower left corner is very well placed. I think this crop was the right move. Nice work. doc
Agree with others that the shadows look fine without detail. In fact, I prefer them that way. As Brett Weston showed, no need to always have detail in the blacks. Leaving out detail often suggests new forms and can strengthen the photograph. I think that's the case here. Good work. The only thing I can see that mights strengthen this would be to balance the highlights in the lower 1/3 of the wall with a little additional burning in that area.
