Prague-Prague Castle 1

Taking a crack at some poorly exposed, overlapping Holga negs from some years ago. This was the 1st roll I ever shot with a Holga. The density loss is from the double exposure

Vic the tones here are totally different and yet if I have read your details correctly, everything about the developing and printing is exactly the same. What accounts for the difference between this one and the other two?

Thanks

Hi-Lith printing is controlled by many factors incl: the type of paper, time of print exposure, dilution of developer, temperature of developer, age of developer, time of print in the developer, exhaustion of developer being the main ones that come to mind..
This print received less exposure (even taking into account the density of the neg) than the others which were developed in older/more exhausted developer. The combination of longer expsoure, older weaker developer and pulling the print earlier from the tray accounts greatly for the more pronounced colors. I did make a print of this image using a similar combination as the others and it was also 'more orangey' like the other 2 but I liked this one more

Ah the intricacies of lith printing. I hadn't given this enough thought, Thanks for the answer, Vic
