Looks to me like a little bit of both! Lovely dog - the eyes speak of such intelligence and patience - great capture. Love the way the environment is definitely a part of the shot, but not distracting in any way.

Nice dog, most Australian sheperds and heelers, here in Nevada (very popular with the Basque sheep ranchers in the north) have one eye different than the other with one being blue.....this dog reminds me of a Catalouna (spelling) hound from the Bayou country along the gulf coast...in any case a very beautiful dog...
