This is an excellent image in my opinion. My first impression was that it was a snubbing post in an old corral on someones ranch. When I read the caption my first impression changed instantly and I could then enjoy the photograph even more!
Thanks for your comments. The scan and PC monitor don't do it much justice. On the print, the post and the rope look 3D. I feel as if I can reach in and wrap my hand round the post.
