Portrait

Portrait of a young girl; interior lighting study. I can't go too wrong with this subject, but I'm doing a series for her parents and would like any suggestions for improvement.

Her parents will love this. She has a beautiful face, and you've captured a pair of very expressive eyes. My only comment... when photographing kids, I usually like to see all of their hands (or at least, one hand, or feet, or at least one foot, as the case may be!!), or none at all. It would have been a bit better here, I think, if you could see more fingers. Maybe, direct her to place one hand over the other. It's a minor criticsm, here, as I think she'll be pleased to show this photograph to HER kids!

Suzanne,
Thanks for your input. I have several shots with the girl. Some show her hands, some I got in closer. This one was "in the middle." But that's good feedback. Thanks.

This shot shows so well why B&W is so true in capturing the image. Colour would only detract from the beauty.
Also, thanks for your recent comment on my 1st posted photo. Much appreciated.
