I'm a bit disturbed by this one, the lighting and shine on the cheeks makes it look like either a wax model or a forensic reconstruction of the remains of an unknown deceased person. It doesn't look a like a real live person to me.

I think some of what you find disturbing comes from digital compression in the scanning process to get it online. I'll re-post it when I've been able to make a palladium print and see if that changes your take on it.
