Portrait by JustK of BillHahn at NE APUG VPC Workshop

Scanned from polaroid type 53 print, shutter speed was 1/4 second, forget the aperture. This was JustK's third photo using a view camera, so be kind when you critique.

I'm in the disturbing situation where I think a photo doesn't look like me - but every one I ask thinks its a perfect likeness! Anyway, kudos to JustK, especially for her posing ideas -- otherwise you would have just gotten a straight ahead mug shot...

No need to be kind -- it's one heck of a photo! You are off to a very good start and thanks for having the nerve to post the photo.

Bill,
I am surprised you photographed so well at that time of day. I know that from standing on my feet for that long of a time, the camera would not have been that kind to me. I was dead tired when we pulled out of VPC and went over to Red Rose.
Anyhow, it was a great experienmce.

It's official: according to my mother it looks like me. "You look relaxed, not cranky like you usually do."

This portrait has all the elements I am aware of, I'd say it's a fine job but perhaps a bit to serious. Excellent post! BTW, burning in the open door does wonders for this image.
