We were trying to make a portrait in the style of George Hurrell. I think we succeeded.

Yes, you did. Nice composition: X formed by angle of the face and the right hand brings focus right to the center. I like the detail on the lips, too.
 
Agreed.. great portrait! I just find the hand a little... shall we say... not quite attached. Don't know if there's more detail in the shadow area of her arm on the print, but that would help. Her expression is perfect... great job!
 
I thought "George Hurrell" as soon as I saw the print and before I read your caption. Well done.

FWIW- Most of Hurrell's best remembered iconic Hollywood glamour images were done in the 30's & 40's
 
Excellent. Completely captures both the pose and the look of those old Hollywood portraits.
 
Striking portrait! I agree with Suzanne about the hand, is there more detail in the shadows? Well done.
