This is a favorite subject of mine. I enjoy photographing it from various angle during different seasons and conditions. This image taken when the fall foliage was at its peak in early November. The leaves were a brilliant golden yellow which added some magical light with the bright overcast sky.
Nice capture! I can see why you are so attracted to this subject. What a gold mine of photographic opportunity! Your photos tell such a story. Do you have a colour image of the fall leaves? That would be nice to see as well. Even a cellphone photo would be appreciated.
Thank you Eric . . . no, since I have been back to analog photography I have pretty much concentrated on B&W so I tend to view my world as such. There was a beautiful flower bush of some kind, about 10 feet tall and 12 feet wide that had white flowers turning sort of red with the frost nearby . . . I wanted to take a cell phone pic of that but had left my cellphone home if I had my cellphone I would have also taken a pic of this monument. Two days later we had 6-8 inches of snow . . . I went back for some snow pics but there was nothing that inspired me . . . this spot in the cemetery is about 3/4 of a mile from where it is plowed, my Wrangler in 4wd barely made it to the scene . . there were drifts 2+ feet deep back there. Next time snowshoes
Looking at this post again I realized I made a mistake on the film I used, it was not FP4 but Pan F+ . . edited to change. Pan F+ is rapidly becoming my second favorite film, after Tri-X of course . . .
