Pony Truss bridge near Boynton, Oklahoma

This curved-top pony truss bridge on a lonely county road near Boynton, in Muscogee county, Oklahoma has a wood deck. The workers who replaced some of the boards forgot their saw, it seems.

I think the extra plank length is for a diving board.

Reminds me of some of the more remote spots on Stevens creek in Macon Co Illinois where I grew up....you have posted some good bridge shots...thanks

Another great bridge photo. My wife and I like to get out and explore the back roads and these sorts of roads and bridges are irresistable to us. I do have to confess to some cautiousness though ... I sometimes get out and walk the bridge first .. then drive ...
