Thank you. She is a very sweet girl and I am blessed to have her!

The white socks and shoes must be a prop! No 5 year old can stay that way for more than 2 minutes! Great image, excellent execution-
Yeehah!

Jersey Vic- Thank you for your kind comments. She is one of those weird, fastidious children. In complete contrast to her little sister, who approaches everything with gusto and lets the stains fall where they may!

Despite the distracting background, I think I like this one on the series the most. You can probably print the background a bit darker so the foreground will pop out more so it won't be distracting.

I like cowpoke2 as well but this one has such a nice feel to it.

Eric- Thanks. I totally agree about the background, it sucks. The pony ride is in a restaurant parking lot at a busy intersection. The white semi just makes it 10x worse. I do hope I can burn in to darken it without losing the contrast in my upper clouds or just generally looking weird.

I am also toying with cropping out the right 3rd of the image. I just hate lose the horses patoot though.

I agree with your impulse to crop the right side. That will also get rid of some of the semi, and you can then burn it and the white bldgs on the left. As for the horse's rear, there are plenty of those around, you'll find another to photograph! ;-)

I like this shot. Although the truck is a bit distracting, I don't mind the background, the surburban scene, with foreboding clouds makes an interesting juxtposition with the girl & pony.
