Pond Scum #84

4x5 silver contact print

I'm about 1 printing session away from having a finished print of each image in Project Pond Scum. Then comes the editing and the portfolio. I've also increased the size of the PPS scans at my website, you can visit by clicking below.

I've been following this series and it never fails to impress and delight me. I just cannot get enough of images like this!

Great light, and satisfying design. Where will your show be, Shawn? If it's in eastern PA, I might be able to get there....western PA isn't too likely (Pulaski is 385 miles away)...but I'd love to see this series on the wall.

I love the way the reflected sunlight appears to swirl into the pond scum. You've created a very nice series that should be wonderful to see all together.

All the best,
Daniel

Wonderful Shawn, there's a very nice mix of texture and glowing light. Great work this series and if I had all the time in the world, I'd drive to PA just to see them.

I think this is the first one that looks truly scummy- like in - " I am not getting in there for nothing" scummy.

Thanks fellows! The feedback from everyone here at APUG has been invaluable. I sure wish everyone were able to see them in person. John, I will let you know. Both side of the state would be ideal! Dan, you and I are on the same page here! Vic, I was in there when I was a kid and don't recommend it...
