Pole Steeple

I took this photograph almost a year ago. It was on a hike on the Appalachian Trail near my home with my father. This is the Pole Steeple overlook along the AT. It is a grand view over looking Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Michaux State Forest.

It was a blustery day with interesting clouds. The foliage was beautiful as usual in late October. Use of an orange filter helped to darken the strange blue clouds and lighten the foliage.
