The original file looked a lot better this one has lost a bit of color. This is straight off the film no digital enhancements done to this one. Is there a way to print on paper directly I know there used to be reversal paper like cibachrome.....
Thanks for the comments guys I always expose velvia for the highlights and + 1 stop in this shot the sky was a stop brighter than the rocks so I exposed the sky at +1 stop which would leave the rocks at midpoint where the sunlight was falling. Unfortunately due to the upload the file has lost some quality and hence does not look the same please check it out on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?... to my pentax 645 lens which was a 45mm lens.
Breathtaking imagery. Excellent how you were able to keep detail in the clouds while still allowing a slow enough exposure to give a lovely "mist" over the waters. Well done.
Thanks for the comment there is no trick to this the exposure for the sky and the water was for 1/30s and I am still learning how to expose velvia properly to get the saturation it offers still not there yet. The shot is straight from the film no manipulation done.
