Maybe I chose the wrong term - in German we say 'verbastelt', what means tinkering in an inadequate manner. Apart from this it's a cool looking car.

macfred, that the kind of car I need to report my own death as Frank Bigelow in the film noir "Dead On Arrival" You may have seen my comment on the thread about the lost Kodak Xtol publication J-107.
I think the B&W version has the edge. In the films then you could have any colour you like as long as it was black. This pays homage to that era

Unfortunately I never saw the original 1949 American film noir D.O.A. - only the 1988 remake. Time for me to do something about this gap in education ...
After I watch enough of the old film noirs, I keep on looking in my rear view mirror and feel sure that on my leisurely( pronounced incorrectly as leesurely in the States ) drive into Beverley Hills( it always seems to be Beverley Hills in these films) the same blue Buick has been on my tail( American phrase for following me for the last ten blocks. When I say this line to the wife she thinks I have gone mad and she may be right
