That agrees with my experiences. I still regret the old emulsion. Nevertheless, also the "new" Kentona has its benefits. Fomatone is easier to handle, but sometimes I like it less colorfully. The reaction to toners is also something different and that makes this paper additionally interesting for me. I have resumed the experiments with two-bath some days ago, this shortens the time and allows a deeper black simultaneously. The disadvantage is a tendency to get fog especially with adding ammonium salts (polychrome). But the effect can be worth the trouble.
Yes two bath lith might be a solution. Too bad, at the moment my darkroom is so small that I can not setup a fourth tray. Maybe soon ... plans ... plans ...
