Always a different perspective. I love the photos you've posted so far!

PS. Where do you get your thio carbamide from? Photographer's Formulary? I've been wanting to try it. I have the other chemicals required, but not the thio.
Thanks Thom. I make up my toner and bleach from the raw chemicals. I buy all of the chemicals from Artcraft Chemical Supplies, and mix it up from readily-available formulas. If you need some info on the formulas, I'd be happy to send them to you. Tim Rudman's toning book is also a fantastic resource for more toner recipes than you can shake a stick at.
Daniel: nice use of the signs in your composition. I spent the evening there grumbling to myself about the signs and working to keep them out of my images. It's always humbling when someone else walks around to the other side of a problem and finds an elegant solution.

Daniel, I was wondering what you were photographing in front of the sign. I walked right pas a great image without even noticing. This is really great.
Thanks, Dan and John. I thought, "these Piping Plovers have it made- what a stretch of prime real estate!". Unfortunately, this isn't really the case and they need protection. Don't mess with the Piping Plovers!
Nice pic and print Daniel. There is an implied diagonal line formed by the 2 signposts that really adds something and your tones are great as usual. We have Snowy Plover protection areas here on the Monterey Penin. as well... interesting.
