Nice GRAINy elevator...lol
My feeling is that you're in between with this...(I could be way off and its just a greenhorn's opinion, so take it for what its worth)...it feels like the building takes up too much of the frame and doesn't convey much detail. As a viewer, I want to be closer to see more detail in the building...or step back and see how the building fits into the landscape...

Again, I'm just a novice and another may say that I'm way off, but its just how I see the image.

I like this one, too...but again, I'd like it better with less grain (what a thing to say) haha
But I really like the composition and the sky!

I do not disagree with the other posts. I like the image & subject but feel that a &1600 ASA/ISO is a bit high for this type of image. I personally would prefer the image with less grain. I must admit some folks love it, but I feel in this case less would be better. I also was not there when you made your choices, but had I have been there I most likely would have chosen a longer focal length lens.
I really dont find fault with your camera position but like JoeyK49, I would love to see the texture of this elevator.

I would love to have such a subject to photograph.
