what's with this color crap! this is APUG you know LOL. now to be serious, the image seems fuzzy to me. Maybe it's my monitor or maybe you were going for a selective focus thing on the leading edge of the flower. It's hard to come up with a really grabbing shot of this type of flower in color. Shall we call this calla lily number 1?
Color is permissible, I hope. lol.
Another factor in the fuzziness could simply be the scanning. If your fstop is at f22, that should be plenty of DOF. Any fuzziness in this one could be attributed to the film not being flat during scanning. How does it look when you examine it under a loupe? It's can be difficult to get the film to lie flat - and avoid Newton rings. Drum scans are the best at flattening the film, but expensive, and not always convenient. Afterall, the flattening issue is the reason glass carriers are best for darkroom printing.
