Pig rears

Another from the county fair series.....

When I took the photo, I was struck by the symmetry and textures. I'll let you judge. Honestly, I feel vaguely uncomfortable with the imag. I suppose that it what can make photography interesting!

It's certainly not a common subject. What is it about this image that makes you uncomfortable? If you suggest a barnyard reenactment of a certain scene from "Requiem For A Dream", I too would be uncomfortable.
Kudos for originality. I like it, but can't find the words to describe why.

Anthropomorphism.....you can't help thinking that if the subjects were human, that it would be somewhat erotic, and barnyard animals are, well.....taboo.
The composition is strong, it's a well wrought image, you just need to reconcile the "content" give it a cute or funny title to defuse that other stuff.

I like it. But it does remind me of a card I saw a long time ago. The picture was a dozen pigs eating at a trough, taken from the back. The caption was, "Your name came up at lunch today".

In woodworking this would be considered a mis-aligned butt joint. Regardless, I like it because my two dogs often lie this way when they're snoozing on the bed.

Very innovative and creative; I doubt most of us would have seen the photographic potential.
