Thank you David, but I cannot take credit for the 'life aesthetic' that the Germans have as I am an EXPAT (retired US military). It does rank as one of the reasons I decided to stay in Germany though.

Seriously lovely lanscape, Doug.
David's comment has rattled around for a bit & seems to stick - in a good way. On the heals of another power outage, facing what to do w/ the time, etc. that life aesthetic was brought to the foreground. Thank you both.

The only thing I didn't like in Germany was all the graffiti, even more than in NA. Beyond that everything else was aces.
