Very cool! Just like the pieces are just hanging together in space. The only thing that bothers is the perfectly round white dot just below and to the right of center. What is that?
 
I also like the object-in-space thing.. fwiw it would be worthwhile and easy to fix the white dot with PS.
 
@bsdunek I believe that was part of the catalogue process. Very rare to find pottery on this scale, from my limited experience, usually just small shards, so this was quite a significant find. We photographed it on a make-shift light table in Henri's basement. Then I made actually silver-gelatin prints to submit with the article I wrote for the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society Journal.
