This is painter creativity which is lack from me. I join to van eynde ludo , These are the first photopolymer gravures I have ever seen and excellent , may be the most beatiful I have ever seen at galleries. Is it expensive stuff ? Do I need a press as a must ? I had been seen Russian Book Gravures from 70s and they were rock solid art.
Mustafa: yes; you have ti have some sort of press, but one can actually make the old presses for wet clothes (the ones our mothers used to use) to work. two thin metal plates will protect the wodden rollers, and then you go....
The Photopolymer Gravure plates are a little expensive, unfortunately, but you can make many prints from one plate, and thus experiment with different colourings...
The good news are, that it is non toxic - rather quick (from beginning to the final, usable plate: about one hour) - bad news is, that it is highly addictive!! ;-)
