Photographer and Subject

The professional digital photographer hired for my brother's wedding. He was on a Nikon D300s with a 24-70 2.8 and an SB800.
Location
Port Canaveral, FL
Equipment Used
Canon Elan 7e, 50mm f1.8 II
Exposure
1/50th @ f1.8
Film & Developer
Neopan 1600 Professional
Everyone in my family has pretty much agreed my shots looked better. Not trying to brag or anything but most of his shots I could have taken with my Canon Powershot compact digital camera and they would have looked just as good.

What did you soup this in? Neopan 1600 isn't known to be coarse and grainy like that. - Unless you soup it in a very grain enlarging developer then. Are you sure it's not reticulation, the neopan's and acros films are pretty sensitive to differences in temperature between developer, wash, fix and wash.
