This camera is quite new to me. I thought this effect had been caused by a slightly loose lens hood but having now shot about 10 rolls it occurs in maybe 1 or 2 shots out of 12. It only happens in bright sunshine and has happened with and without a lens hood. It is always in the same place (bottom right of the photo) and always looks pretty much the same. Can anyone suggest what this is? Could it be a light leak in the bellows? If it just lens flare (but why always the same place)? Could it be a sticky shutter blade?
Thank you HiHo. That is very kind. I have 4 rolls to develop tonight from a walk around my neighbourhood today. I hope some of the photographs will turn out well. I have done my trick of loading 2X 120 per reel taped together. This is a bit tricky in a changing bag but the Patterson reels were designed to take 220 which is twice the length of 120. It takes half the time for me to develop the film because my tank only takes 1x 120 size reel so I would have to do each film one after the other otherwise (and half the chemicals too).
Your work is great. I like looking at your pictures. Especially liked the bridge/bubble combo.
I love the freedom of this camera. I am forced to walk to get the right view and I don't waste time fiddling around with a bag full of lenses like I do with my 35mm SLR.
