Photo-a-day Challenge

I think my scanner is creating nasty strips in the sky area...my apologies. :-(

Anyone know how to fix this or is my ancient Epson destined for destruction...? PM's are most welcome.

Looks to me as though the streaks could be partially rendered overhead power lines? Wires can land right on the edge of film/scanner resolution (have seen that with my own pinhole shots of "infrastructure"). Looks like my kind of industrial place!

I've never seen this before...mind you, I don't scan very often either. Thanks anyway...I'll try to keep this in mind in the future.
