I am usually not a fan of that wide format, but the intersection of the path and rails is very intriguing, as is the sky.

I like how the road and rail obviously take you to different places. I think the crossing sign smack in the middle is critical.

I lived for a long time in a small town with a similar intersection. This is very evocative to me of the experience of such a place, particularly the way that the railroad tracks introduce a sense of expectation and connectedness into the lonely silence of this type of location. The sky is a big part of the atmosphere as well. Beautiful!

reminds me of some of Sudek's panos around Prague, perfect use of the format; stories abound in this image, at least for me
