This was one of those 'I'll just be five minutes', that the family soon realises will be closer to three hours; unless they absoloutely insist otherwise!
One rock in a quite incredible formation, and one of the last shots that day. I was just packing up to leave when I saw the bird perched in the cool breeze; two frames later and I was quite sure I'd bagged my shot of the day.
Printed on Ilford MGFB, developed in Ilford WT and bathed in a thio/selenium split. I'm still trying to get the hang of this paper, and do have a real preference for the WT version; but the huge price difference is causing me to experiment - time will tell. I did some selective bleaching on the water; and the scan seems to be showing up some flaws in my proccess! :-(
