I seem to have a problem remove dust spots from negative. Any suggestions on how to successful remove dust spots would be much appreciated. I am just a beginner in the dark room.

Nice shot of the cat, Christina. Good timing and good use of selective focus.

When printing, I use an anti-static brush on the neg once in the carrier, and then give it the canned air blast once I've placed the carrier in the enlarger prior to dropping the condenser head. That way, the air cleans any dust off the base of the condenser, as well. Once the print is dry, you can use spotting dye or spotting pens to remove the white spots. See this thread for some thoughts on that:

Thank you all. I will pick up an anti-static brush and give that a try. I wasn't sure if they realy worked but sounds like others have had success with them so it is worth a try.

Thanks again

Christina
