"Penta"

Whilst clearing up I found this photograph that I took 25 years ago. This is "Penta", Alsatian number 5. Taken on the now defunct Agfapan APX 25 (which explains the lack of depth of field and out of focus nose, film so slow).

It is a good shot nevertheless. Dog are creatures with personality and impact on our lives that remains long after they are dead. Many years later a sense of loss remains

Thanks. Yes she was a wonderful dog. Seen here wet having played at "eating" the jet of water from the hose (hose is on the ground). She loved that game and so have all the other Alsatians. It is surprisingly difficult to take a good photograph of a dog; they don't like cameras pointed at them and will either walk away or try to lick the camera!

Svenedin, the Mrs. thinks she's gorgeous.

Thank you HiHo. She was a very gentle and loyal dog, Silver-Sable rather than the more usual Black and Tan or Black and Gold.
