Falkenberg - 8x10 inch paper (cut down from larger sheets) so there is a bit of white border and because it's BFK Rives, a deckle edge or two too, depending on where it was cut from. Very tactile, but the scanner doesn't show the deckled edge very well. I printed 4 of these for a print exchange so they'll be scattered to the four corners of the world soon.
Thanks for the praise, Thomas To think, I started this just because I saw a cyanotype of an apple someone else had done and I puffed up my chest at it and said I can do better than that.
I have an older version of this Philips Facial Solarium than this but it's similar enough http://www.amazon.co.uk/HB175-Philips-Facial-Solaria/dp/B0000D8B1Z
I'm not sure who makes BFK Rives, but it's a printmaking paper rather than watercolour so it is quite smooth. I bought mine at Atlantis Art in East London, UK.
Oh! Just window light, open a curtain kind of thing. I do that for all of the fruit in the series so far but it works best when it's bright and sunny outside (but not direct sunlight on the subject)
