i've always wanted to see if "hyping" paper emulsion would increase its speed
people supposedy used to fume film ( still do ? ) over a warm bath of H2O2 to
speed it up, maybe the next eclipse we can compare notes @bsdunek
Yep. Astrophotography was actually my segway hobby from pure optics interest into photography, so I know all about hypering Tech Pan in forming gas (H2 + N2 mix) as well as manually guiding 1-3 hr exposures (staring into an eyepiece to make tracking corrections).
Different films respond differently to hypering. It's a time-consuming process. Some films are fine right out of the box...Fuji Acros is the one relatively current film that I'm aware of.
Spun away from the hobby for 10 years but recently started in again. This time I went all digital..the fun this time is fully automating the setup.
