Thanks very much for the kind comments. This is a somewhat simple image, and as you say very relaxing which is part of the reason for the title. The image bascially consists of pinks, blues, and silhouttes. The pinks and blues of the waves are basically repeated in the birds on the strand line and the island at the back of the image. As mentioned this was the invitation photo for a solo exhibit of Birds and Landscapes in New York City. It is part of series of 3 images at sunrise in the Flamingo Section of the Everglades taken either the same or back to back mornings including:
