Pea Pods

In trying to find a replacement for Forte Polywarmtone, this is my first go at using ADOX polywarmtone. I haven't been able to get Forte in Athens for about a nine months and the ADOX can be had for very reasonable shipping costs from fotoimpex.de. It's not an exact match for Forte-- it seems double weight not triple, it doesn't shift color as fast in selenium, and it never seemed to have this yellowish hue in its untoned state. I like that tone here and I probably won't tone this one. Comments welcome and thanks for looking.

It's often hard to tell the exact tone from a scan, however I love the quality of this image, very nicely done! Forte paper is now readily available in Australia and the company seems to have settled down so you may be able to get it again soon. There are some interesting produts coming out of eastern Europe so ther is hope for us yet!

Beautifully thought out, great composition and excellent use of focus.A great shot of something very ordinary is always good to see. Thanks for posting.

Just going through various portfolios and this one caught my eye. This is beautiful.
The tones are just as i would want my prints to come out.
Forte is a great paper. The Fortezo in particular. Tones well in Selenium whereas some Adox papers don't change tone at all in Selenium.

Well done.
