I found this scan recently. I forget her name. Negative scan and then a photoshop curve, skin retouching, a wee bit of color to help me visualize this as a palladium print. Soon, I hope
Thanks guys. Danielle is her name! I just saw it on another file. I gave her digital files and couple of digital prints. Not sure where she is. This is from, maybe 6-8 years ago.
Great hair. Interesting expression she looks mildly annoyed to me, her left eye is noticeable more brighter than the right, which I find slightly off putting. Im the second worst photographer in the world so feel free to ignore my naive comment.
Hi away, Somewhere I have other pictures of her. Back in the 80s I had a headshot business. I usually lit them wide open, meaning no shadows. Now I enjoy doing more dramatic lighting once in a while. People always say I look annoyed in pictures and I'm not. She wasn't the most at ease person I ever photographed, despite the fact that I'm pretty good at making people relax and feel comfortable. She was a friend of a friend and needed a picture having to do with her singing career. I did it no cost. Honestly, she never looked so good. I was surprised when I saw some of the photos I took of her, definitely better than she looked in person. I don't think your comment is naive, we like what we like.
