I like the composition and the idea, but nothing is sharp in the print, and that bugs me....I know, I know, it was probably too dark to focus, but still...it bugs me....

Jorge it's a Holga! There's no visual focus - you have to estimate the distance and focus the lens accordingly.

Unfortunately I also find the blurriness to distract from what is otherwise a wonderful photo. I love the natural vignetting of the Holga.

Lee,
Sheesh you're right...good point!

Jorge/Art...I don't want to come off as defending the image and I respect your critique as well as others {but} if I wanted sharp I wouldn't be using a 16.00 Chinese camera with a plastic lens. When I use the Holga it is mainly for the fun of it. I don\'t ever take it serious and just accept what it gives me and go from there. The operative word is "FUN"

I understand what you are saying mikepry as I use a Holga as well. Most of the reason I use it is that I love the results.

What I would suggest is that you post this in the standard and not the critique gallery because I wouldn't have made the negative comment if it were there. I was just expressing how this photo works for me and it's blurriness takes away from what I think is an otherwise super shot.
