Paterson Great Falls

Amellice, this is just killer to me. The contrast in tones can keep my gaze circling to the different parts of the falls & make stops at the tone depth of the rock face. Apart from composition, the execution would seem even stronger. The clarity & tones make me expect to smell the spray & wet vegetation. 'Really nicely done.

Amellice, great photograph. Love how the grass came out, the water is just great, and i most especially like what you did to the horizon at the shallow fall. I have wanted for years to get up to the Paterson Great Falls and take some, but all kinds of other life stuff got in the way, and i pretty much abandoned the thought. I can see that was a big mistake, and i am happy to have seen this image.

@michaelorr this was my first time there. I like the place alot but it took me time till I got a composition where I can isolate the scene to get rid of all distracting surrounding elements. You should go there, it's very pretty. It's like a hidden gem in Jersey
