Good to have the "human perspective" in this picture. I would never have guessed the bridge was this big from the picture alone, although the windows on the right are a slight give away. And of course it just adds to the whole atmosphere.
 
very nice ... I also like what happens when cropped down to top of arch .... great tonal rendition ...

I also like your photo and would also suggest the cropping of the top. Those hi-lights are a distraction to the main content.

Beautifully captured light! I love the bright stark highlights, I think they emphasize the sense of walking into something different and the feeling of coming through the arc. Nice!

Thanks to all. Yes, I though about cropping but it's a bit awkward with the angles at the top and I've grown to like it. It was the light that drew my eye. It was early morning sunlight streaming through and lighting the bridge. A wonderful atmosphere. I waited a few seconds for the pedestrian to enter the bright zone.
