I set out to make pictures on the roof of this parkade, but the walk up proved so interesting I used up both rolls of film on places like this.
A simple study of form and light and shadows. Nothing more complicated than that.
These service structures get attention to how they look on the outside, but it is rare for the insides to offer any visual interest. This makes me want to follow the curve. Usually I just want to know where the stairs are and remember where I parked!
Colin, when you take photos like this, are you trying to say anything to the viewer, like to slow down and take a look at your world or are you just capturing unexpectedly interesting light to please your own eye?
