The drive to the slave quarters and overseer's house. Today it is a tranquil park for people to ride their bikes and walk their dogs, but this was a landscape built by and for slavery.
'Like this from several perspectives - record/historic shot, landscape, printing presentation - all very satisfying. Inclusion of the cyclist & dog add interest for me.
I included the cyclist and the dog on purpose. It calls out the recreational use of the space today that was once a working farm operated by people who had no recreational time whatever.
