This is the picture that the enlargement was taken from. Rather gloomy, partly the poor light and partly down to me. A tripod would be needed for more exposure and then even more likely it would end up a leaning tower knowing me.
Yes, it's certainly sharp and if I could master this film it would be amazing. The tower is wonderful isn't it. It amazes me that the Victorians built such delightful structures for such mundane purposes. Then again, it does stand in a public park and a big iron tank on stilts was probably not an option. Nonetheless, I wish architects of today would consider the aesthetic as well as the functional but perhaps they are on such tight budgets from their clients that this kind of beauty is out of the question. Well that's what they'd say I suppose. I just think modern architecture is imaginative, dismal rubbish that does nothing to lift the soul of those who see it (in fact quite the opposite). Perhaps they should get away from their CAD screens and actually look at the world through their own eyes.
