The top edge burning has really proved its value here in concentrating attention towards the subjects while leaving a kind of glow effect. Well done

This is an extremely personal photograph for me. A week before I took it we found out that my father has terminal cancer. My stepmother asked me to please take a photo of them together because they don't have many. She asked me to please crop it so that only their faces can be seen but I decided not to, his presence is enormous here and her affection for him here is what this picture is all about. This picture was taken and this print was made with all my love. It is, as far as I am concerned, my finest work ever.
