Packard Plant Office Hallway

From this vantage you can start to understand the amount and degree of ruin at the Packard Plant. This was taken on the second or third floor and looks to be partitioned for office space. It's a long hallway and this devastation is less than average. The Packard Plant hasn't made cars since the 50's I believe and is basically a 40 acre complex in varying stages of ruin.

Thanks. The story of some of the auto companies is sad indeed. Even worse, the story of Detroit. I remember when Detroit, the auto companies, and other companies were doing well. The economy was good, people had good jobs, the city was beautiful. Sometimes progress is in the wrong direction.
