This has always struck me as a particularly atmospheric place. Was this the setting for the Clint Eastwood film "Play Misty for Me"?

I find this a magical place. The light is wonderful. Many of our earlier Calif photogs were drawn here, and to answer your question, yes, Clint used this area as backdrops for "Play Misty For Me". There are a lot of hidden homes nestled in the hills and cliffs overlooking the Pacific.
